My cousin recommended this restaurant and I had the most incredible time here! After an entree and two bottles of wine including tip the total came to just $50 a piece for the 4 of us which was shocking. Jose our server was fun and the most amazing guy!! Thanks Jose for making the night super special! I loved the ambiance, with dance music playing, the plants, beautiful decor it is definitely a place I highly recommend to check out over here!! I ordered a pasta dish with shrimp and it was delicious!!

Incredible service. Happened upon by accident off the beach and we were so thankful for it. So worth it!

This was the best experience we have ever had at any restaurant around the world. Which is high praise coming from a group of six people! R made a reservation for outside and as we were sitting the sound of traffic was too loud for those hard of hearing in the group. We were promptly moved to an inside table in the back corner with a couch on one side and chair on the other. Perfect. Our four year old ended up falling asleep on the couch. Our server Franco was the best! He was so attentive and had great recommendations. He helped us through the massive tequila list (do try the top shelf) and also assisted with cocktails meal recommendations. So glad he recommended the salmon and waygu. The table side cocktails were so fun! For food we started with the sashimi salmon and waygu. It was amazing. Then we ordered ribeyes and lobster. Also amazing. They cut the ribeyes table side with a machete. Loved the theatrics of it! For sides we ordered grilled veggies, corn (my favorite), and mashed potatoes. The ribeye also came with tortillas which were so good we had to order more. For dessert we ordered ice cream and fried bananas. They brought them out with sparklers on a little cart for the table. Easy to share and our eight year old loved the theatrics. Our kids were able to order pasta, which made them very happy! Overall it was the best dinning experience any of us has ever had. The service was above and beyond. We could not believe how good the food was as it overshadowed all other places we have been to (I usually have overcooked steaks and here it was cooked to perfection). If you are in town this is a must go to restaurant!

Very lively atmosphere, immaculate service. If you are looking for a fun dinner night, look no further. Live DJ, fancy table side drink preparation. Food is great, way more expansive than most other places in PV, but you get catered to like no where else by an extremely professional staff. Delicious desserts.

Wow, my second time here. Love it so much. Food was overall great, extensive menu. Stunning decor. Amazing service, truly attentive staff. The had a waiter just for our table. They also have a table side mixologist. Highly recommend the lobster tacos!

Hands down, the best meal I had in Puerto Vallarta! La Madalena feels so cosmopolitan -- like you've stepped into a trendy restaurant in the heart of Manhattan, but with all the charm of Puerto Vallarta. The vibe, the food, the service -- everything was top-notch. The service and attention to detail were impeccable. One of the most memorable parts was the table-side presentation of their carnivorous options. From seafood to steaks and chops, they do an incredible job walking you through their key meat selections before you order, adding to the whole experience. Now, let's talk food. The truffle mashed potatoes with a parmesan crisp? One of the best things I've ever eaten -- seriously! And the Wagyu steak, prepared tableside, literally melted in my mouth. To top it all off, the churros were a treat -- they customize them with your preferred toppings right in front of you. I'll definitely be back. Everything I tasted was absolutely amazing, and I can't wait for round two at La Madalena!

The service here is 100/10. We were greeted by more people than we had on our party. There was a staff member behind every chair waiting to pull out our chair for each of us. They were constantly attentive to every detail and all of our needs. If we were about to get up, someone was immediately behind us helping us pull out our chair, if we were needing more bread or a utensil, someone would be a step ahead already providing it to us before we wave at someone. Because the service was so great, I think the whole dining process went very quick as well. There wasn't a whole lot of waiting around. Brussel sprouts, fish, octopus and aguachiles were all delish! There were some dishes I was not a fan of-- the different foods didn't really all fit -- like the brussel sprouts and skewers, and fish had Japanese ingredients, but nonetheless the vibes were fantastic! There was loud music, lights, plants, and the bartenders were walking around with a bar cart to make drinks, so you can be an audience to that without leaving your table. I also enjoyed the guava pie! If you're going to PVR, I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

Everything about this place was magnificent from the decor to the food to the incredible service. Now, this is not a place you go to if you are looking to be frugal. You WILL spend some coins here! Or pesos! lol But you truly get what you pay for. As soon as we arrived at our table, we were greeted by 4 people! And I promise, besides those 4, there were at least other staff who came by to clear or bring items. There was a tableside bartender who made amazing cocktails from his cart, right in front of you. They brought out examples of their fresh seafood and premium cuts of steak for us to see. I had to try the tuna belly sashimi. It was so delicious and the server even served it to us himself. My stepdad opted for the ribeye cap that was grilled to a perfect medium rare. When they brought it out one of the gentlemen sliced it into perfect portions, then melted butter with a torch, then added a little salt bae sprinkle at the end. Don't ask me why, but I decided to go with the grilled octopus in a steak restaurant! lol But I love grilled octopus and Mexico has the best. It was absolute delicious. My stepdad and I shared the grilled veggies which were fantastic. I was so excited to see beets on the plate! lol I love beets, but the grilled corn was the highlight. So, if you are looking for one fine dining experience while in Puerto Vallarta, I definitely recommend La Madalena. Oh, and I recommend you call for reservations first!

Steakhouse meets nightclub! Let me start by saying the restaurant is gorgeous, food wonderful, and service impeccable. However, holy upsell! We sat down and 5 people enveloped us. The concierge, our waiter, and the cocktail connoisseur cart team. They made us a beautiful cocktail with Moët over dry ice. Wonderful, but I have no idea of the cost...Then they bring out the parade of entrees. First are the steak options with Wagyu steak being their preferred choice, we went with the Porterhouse. Next was the seafood tray where we passed on the Tiger Shrimp at 2500 pesos (150 USD). After dinner they roll out the after dinner drink and dessert cart. We had no idea of the cost of an after dinner drink so played it safe with the churros! It was really good, but just be prepared on what you could pay. We will be back, but would most likely go to the bar and enjoy their great cocktails.
